The Ethylene Oxide Reactor Catalyst Switch Project was developed by strategic partners Petronas Chemicals Glycols and The Dow Chemical Company. Emissions reductions were realized through the development and implementation of an advanced reactor catalyst for ethylene oxide production that reduces direct process CO2 emissions and facility energy requirements. The project was developed under the Dow-IOC Carbon Partnership.

Landfill Gas Optimization Project

The City of Vancouver (CoV) initiated the optimization of a landfill gas collection system to increase the capture efficiency at the CoV Landfill in Delta, BC. For each reporting period, a third-party review was required in order to determine whether the project was consistent with the quantification methodology and conditions described in the validated Project Plan, and as per the requirements of the Green Communities Committee’s guidance.
