Technology Energy Efficiency Project

The PASCAL Technology Energy Efficiency for Refrigerators and Home Appliances Project was developed by the Dow Chemical Company. Emissions reductions were realized through the development and adoption of an advanced insulation technology for refrigerators and home appliances that increases energy efficiency. The project was developed under the Dow-IOC Carbon Partnership.

Our Involvement

Ostrom Climate supported Dow for the full project cycle, including project design and documentation, validation, activity reporting, and verification.

Outcome​

The project was validated and over 300,000 tonnes of emissions reductions have been verified to date.
