Low Carbon Tile Adhesives Project

DOW Chemical Company

The Low Carbon Tile Adhesives Project was developed by strategic partners Termokir Industries Ltd. and The Dow Chemical Company. Emissions reductions were realized through the development and adoption of advanced cement-based tile adhesives that reduce embodied carbon compared to incumbent adhesives. The project was developed under the Dow-IOC Carbon Partnership.

Our Involvement

Ostrom Climate supported Dow for the full project cycle, including project design and documentation, validation, activity reporting, and verification.

Outcome​

The project was validated and over 5,000 tonnes of emissions reductions have been verified to date.
