Our Involvement
Ostrom Climate was engaged by Radicle and 413 Environmental LLC to assess the feasibility of developing three voluntary market REDD projects in forested fazendas (large privately owned farmable properties) in the Brazilian states of Amazonas and Mato Grosso.
Outcome
Ostrom Climate assessed the eligibility of the projects against key requirements set out under the Verified Carbon Standard and other relevant voluntary carbon standards. In addition, they evaluated project risks, developed risk mitigation strategies, quantified a carbon credit volume, and developed early-stage project design.
